Obstructions (2026), a collaborative work between composers Elyse Hart and John Pisaro, explores the gradual emergence of a path long obscured by distraction, uncertainty, and noise. Branching textures proliferate, while a steady path toward clarity remains buried beneath. As the work unfolds, the music gradually uncovers a quieter landscape. The piece reflects on impermanence as the falling away of what is inessential, allowing a deeper stillness to become audible.​
